The Palm Pixi is the second cell phone to bring the sophisticated and innovative Palm WebOS.

Feel the pulse of the social networking scene with this compact and enhanced messaging phone supported by Palm webOS™. The Palm Pixi helps you organize your work and social life by integrating calendars, contacts, instant messaging and social network sites such as Google™, Facebook, Exchange Active Sync, Yahoo! and LinkedIn. The multi-touchscreen with full QWERTY keyboard makes messaging, multi-tasking and searching the Web on the dependable Sprint™ 3G network fast and easy.

The Palm Pixi brings features like combined messaging which allows you to check your Outlook email with Microsoft Direct Push Technology and HTML support and get wireless email access to popular commercial POP3 and IMAP accounts like AOL, Gmail, and Yahoo! All your email accounts can be viewed together, or separately from one simple application. Synergy even lets you see IM presence directly from an email. And, with Universal Search, you can search your entire phone from one simple screen. You can search your contacts, applications, Google, Google Maps or even Wikipedia. Universal search narrows down the possible results as you type, so it’s easier to find what you need.

The Web Browser on the Palm Pixi is also incredibly fast and brings you full HTML Websites the way they were meant to be seen. And, with Sprints EVDO Rev. A network speed you can view them lighting fast.

The Palm Pixi has many other very important features such as a 2.0 megapixel camera with a flash, 8GB internal memory, accelerometer and proximity sensor, NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile, Sprint Navigation Enabled, Amazon Music Store, and most importantly, the Palm App Store. The Palm Pixi sports many of the features found on its predecessor the Palm Pre including Palm’s latest webOS, 8GB internal hard drive, and access to many of Sprint’s premium services. The Palm Pixi also has an updated version of the webOS and a slightly easier to use QWERTY keyboard all in a slimmer package. The only shortcomings are that it’s not quite as speedy as the Palm Pre and it lacks WiFi.
